4TH OF JULY – ALL BUILDINGS CLOSED
On Friday, July 4th all Academy of Art University buildings will be closed in observance of the Independence Day holiday. There will be no classes that day. All classes scheduled for that day will be made up at a different date in the semester. Please check with your instructor for the make-up date.

PETITION TO GRADUATE: SPRING 2009
Petition to graduate for Spring 2009 begins Monday, June 30th. If you are planning to graduate in Spring 2009 be sure to contact the Graduate School at 415-274-8617 to make an appointment with your Academic Advisor as soon as possible!

FINAL REVIEW PREPARATION WORKSHOP
If you are presenting your Final Thesis Project this summer semester, please take this opportunity to have your questions and concerns about Final Reviews addressed so that you can be fully prepared for your review. The workshop will cover: summary papers, archive materials, directed study journals, equipment, locations, presentation techniques, and address your questions about the process.

DIRECTED STUDY ORIENTATION ONLINE
The Directed Study Orientation is now available online at: http://gradstudents.academyart.edu/directed_study.html. All Summer 2008 midpoint review students please contact Albert Lam, Directed Study Coordinator, at 415-618-6188 or via email at: directedstudy@academyart.edu.
The one-on-one forms should be submitted directly to the Directed Study Coordinator or to the Graduate School reception desk. Course for Directed Study Credit forms should go directly to your Academic Advisor. Incomplete/late forms will not be accepted.

END OF SEMESTER EVALUATIONS
End of semester evaluations are currently being conducted in onsite and online classes. Students currently enrolled in Directed Study one-on-one will receive an evaluation form via email.
